Adobe公式の効果音素材を発見！！
先日『売り上げ・集客に繋がる 動画マーケティング トーク術&撮影・制作テクニック』を読んでいたところ、
Adobeが公開している「効果音」の存在
を知りました。

Premiere Proには効果音は含まれていないので、インターネットなどから入手するか、自分で録音する必要があります。Adobe Creative Cloudのフルパッケージを利用している場合は、音声編集ソフトAuditionを利用することで効果音素材をダウンロードすることができます。

なるほど。
Adobeの「Audition」を立ち上げて「ヘルプ＞サウンドエフェクトなどをダウンロード」へ進むと、
次のウェブページに遷移。
こちらの
View Downloads
を選ぶと、次のページに。
こちらのページには効果音がジャンル別に紹介されています。
効果音がパッケージされたzipファイルをダウンロードできるのです。
例えば、
Cartoon Kiss Short Squarky
とか、
Animal Dog Hound Howl
とか、ですね。
ちょっと「ウエスタンな」効果音が盛りだくさん。
動画編集中に効果音が必要になっても困りませんね。
Adobeの効果音の利用規約はどうなってるの？
さて、ここで気になってくるのが「利用規約」。
無料で使えるのは嬉しいですが、その反面、
どこまでの行為が許されるのか定かではないと、制作側としては扱いにくいです。
先程のダウンロードページには以下のように書いてありました。
Your download and use of the content on this page is governed by and subject to the Adobe Software License Agreement (“EULA”) for Adobe Audition and other related Adobe software, available at: http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas
Adobeソフトのライセンス契約「EULA（End User License Agreement）」に則っていれば自由に使っていいようです。
EULAで述べられている内容はだいたい次の通り。
Subject to the restrictions stated in the EULA, you may use, display, modify, reproduce, and distribute the associated Content File. However, you may not distribute the Content File on a standalone basis (i.e., in circumstances in which the Content File constitute the primary value of the product being distributed), and Customer may not claim any trademark rights in the Content File or derivative works thereof.
つまり、
- 使う（use）
- 見せる（display）
- 修正する（modify）
- 再生産する（reproduce）
- 配布する（distribute）
は可能。
一方で禁止されているのが、効果音をメインで使った作品を配布すること。
However, you may not distribute the Content File on a standalone basis (i.e., in circumstances in which the Content File constitute the primary value of the product being distributed), and Customer may not claim any trademark rights in the Content File or derivative works thereof.
例えば効果音を生のまま配布するとか、あとは効果音ファイル・二次創作物に商標をつけて配布するとか、です。
つまるところ、
強欲にならず、普通に使う分には問題ありません。
